BFF loves seeing so much love put to a great cause!
This past weekend at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA, a 46-hour no sleeping or sitting dance marathon took place at one of the countries biggest Universities… Penn State. You may think- that’s crazy! No sleeping or sitting for 46 hours?! Impossible. Well, it was an honor for it to happen for 700 students.
The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, better known as THON, celebrated their 38th year raising funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer and each year, they get one step closer. The 46-hour marathon is filled with students, children, and families playing silly games, dressing up in crazy costumes, listening to live bands, and showing the true meaning of the THON Four Diamonds Fund: Courage-Wisdom-Honesty-Strength.
Since 1977, THON has raised over $78 million dollars. This year, they can add an additional $9,563,016.09 to that total- the most raised in one year yet!
Join the list of celebrities such as Khloe Kardashion-Odom, Jay Sean, Lindsay Lohan, and Whitney Port in spreading this great cause and help next year’s total by donating now at THON.org.
