If you’re as addicted to watching “Friends” re-runs as we are (“The One with Ross’s Tan” never gets old) then you’ve probably questioned whether Ross and Rachel would still be together if new episodes were still airing today.
When the series ended back in 2004 after a 10 season run, the on-again-off-again couple, who had a daughter named Emma together, finally decided to cut all the nonsense and give their relationship a real go.
Our hope was they tied the knot and lived happily ever.
But what does Jennifer Aniston think happened?
“They’re absolutely, 100 percent together,” Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter. “They have more kids!”
“He’s probably still working, and hopefully they’re still hanging out somewhere,” referring to the Central Perk coffee shop where the gang frequently camped out.”
When asked whether she thought the series would make it to the big screen, the Wanderlust actress said, “I can’t imagine how you would do it, unless you did it years from now.”
But even if the movie version were to happen down the road, Aniston doesn’t think it’s such a great idea. “’Friends’ is in your living room.’Friends’ is not in a movie theater. It doesn’t make sense to me. I think it would be going against its authentic self.”
Movie or no movie, we’re just happy believing Ross & Rachel had their fairytale ending.
