Skinnygirl fans – you better pour yourself a drink! We have some bad news to share. Bethenny Frankel’s talk show has reportedly been scrapped. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show “could not land a commitment from a major U.S. station group” and has been dropped by Telepictures.
Perhaps the show got lost in the shuffle since talk show projects from Katie Couric, Ricki Lake, Steve Harvey, Jeff Probst and Anderson Cooper all got picked up.
NY Post’s Page Six is saying that station owners found the Skinnygirl entrepreneur to be “too aggressive” and they brought in a coach to help her come off as ”less abrasive”.
Heck, who are they kidding! That brash behavior is what made fans fall in love with the reality star in the first place.
Though her talk show could potentially be picked up by a cable network, those of us want to catch her on the small screen now can take comfort in knowing that Frankel just wrapped production on a new season of Bravo’s Bethenny Ever After.
Are you surprised Bethenny’s talk show got the axe?
