George Clooney Donates
$600K to Charity

George Clooney was in Sydney Australia yesterday to speak at the 2011 “Power of Collaboration” leadership summit and discuss his humanitarian work, along with Martha Stewart, Russell Simmons and Nobel Peace Prize-winner Mohammed Younis.

According to reports, a select group of participants paid $1,100 to have lunch with the 50 year old actor and hear him speak about working with the peace activist group Not On Our Watch, which he created in 2007 with actors Don Cheadle, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt. Clooney then had an hour long sit down with former 60 Minutes reporter, Ellen Fanning.

The A-list actor’s fees were rumored to be $600,000 which he reportedly donated to the project.
