Now that Ashton Kutcher is a single man, he is making some mighty big plans for himself – starting with a trip to space! It was announced today that the 34-year-old actor is the 500th customer to sign up for a space voyage on Virgin Galactic.
Virgin CEO Sir Richard Branson shared the news on his blog.
He wrote, “I gave Ashton a quick call to congratulate and welcome him. He is as thrilled as we are at the prospect of being among the first to cross the final frontier (and back!) with us and to experience the magic of space for himself.”
Each flight aboard Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo will carry six passengers plus two pilots, and reportedly costs customers around $200,000 per trip. During the voyage, customers will experience a 2.5 hour flight, with five minutes of weightlessness and incredible views of Earth.
There’s no word yet on when Kutcher will liftoff.
