Just when we thought we’d seen it all when it comes to Prince William and Kate Middleton souvenirs, something new comes along to make us smile!
To celebrate the newlyweds’ first Christmas together, Royal Crown Derby has produced a $130 ornament that is sure to be a hit with any royal watcher.
The blue, gold and white porcelain ornament features the initials of Catherine and William intertwined on the front with a gold crown above it. It includes the inscription, ‘Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, 29th April 2011, the day the pair said “I Do”.
Dark blue satin ribbons which say ‘Royal Crown Derby’ are affixed to the ornament so it can be easily hung from the tree.
The bauble is hand-finished in 22 carat gold and only 1,500 will be made.
We wonder if Kate and Will be hanging one on the tree at Sandringham Estate where they plan to spend Christmas with the Royal family?
