The last few months have been filled with highs and lows for Kris Humphries since his “fairytale” wedding and subsequent split from reality star Kim Kardsahian, but today it looks like the ball player has one less heartbreak to deal with.
The free-agent forward has just reached an agreement to re-sign with his old team, the New Jersey Nets, for a one year deal worth $8 million big ones! BTW — that’s more than double the $3.2 million he earned last season.
Sources say Hump may reunite with his former team as early as tonight for a pre-season game against the New York Knicks.
Humphries told reporters earlier today, “I feel like I’m home, man… I got all these familiar faces – but you know, it’s cool. I’m ready to get it going.”
Once the Nets’ season begins on December 26th in Washington, the 26 year old NBA star is expected to suit up as the starting power forward for the team.
We couldn’t think of a better way for K-Hump to rebound from such a chaotic offseason!
