Now that Jill Zarin has been let go from season five of the Real Housewives of New York, reports are surfacing that fellow cast member Ramona Singer was instrumental in getting her axed from the hit show.
Those who follow the series know that bad blood had developed between the reality stars from the moment that Ramona asked Jill to leave “Scary Island” (aka Virgin Islands) on season 3.
Season 4 was filled with bickering and backstabbing which brought the two former friends to blows at the reunion episode.
So was Ramona really responsible for Jill being let go?
According to Us Weekly, a source told the mag Singer “wanted Jill out and her friends in.”
Adding, “Singer came to Bravo with a few pals she thought would make good additions. Bravo decided to go with the new girls and not Jill, so Ramona basically ran her off the show.”
Singer, on the other hand, is denying her part in the firing, saying “We can recommend people to come to the show, but it’s not my decision.”
What do you think? Did Ramona help get Jill fired?
