According to the Huffington Post, Real Housewives of New York cast members Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon were told by the Bravo network on Thursday that they would not returning for next season’s show as full time cast members AND that the network would be introducing three new housewives to spice things up.
Though the reports still haven’t been confirmed, we have to say we aren’t exactly shocked by the news.
Alex McCord shared her reaction to the rumors on Twitter, saying:
“Speaking for myself only, there is no decision yet whether I’m in or out of #RHONY -Nothing’s finalized, though I’d like to do another year.”
With these ladies potentially out, that leaves Countess LuAnn deLesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan still in tact. We sort of doubt Cindy Barshop is coming back — but who knows?!
Since Bethenny Frankel left the group for her own show, this past season was just a lot of senseless squabbling (blondes vs. brunettes) topped off by a ridiculous pregnancy scare. Maybe it’s time to add some new faces to the show and bring back the fun!
What do you think? Will you still watch without Jill, Alex and Kelly?
