Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson cemented their dad’s legacy at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood Thursday. The famous family of Michael Jackson were there for legendary handprint ceremony, honoring the kind of pop.
In addition to leaving their own handprints, the kids made sure to include some other meaningful items of their dad’s – including imprints from his sequin glove and a pair of shoes.
In a too cute moment, Paris Jackson invited Justin Bieber on stage where he spoke about his icon and admitted how much he admired MJ.
“I don’t usually get nervous, but I’m kind of really nervous right now. Basically because Michael meant so much to me and I know he meant a lot to you guys as well,” the Biebs said, before singing the Jackson Five song, “Rockin’ Robin.”
“He was more than entertainer. He was an inspiration the way he was kind, he was gentle and very charitable. That’s why I look up to him. People are going to remember him for his dancing and singing, but people have to remember him for being the man that he was. Everything I do, I look at Michael and I want to be as good as he was.”
The event also included a performance by the cast of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour which is set to debut in Los Angeles today, January 27th.
Mom Katherine Jackson, Quincy Jones, Debbie Allen, Smokey Robinson, and Chris Tucker were also in attendance.
