Yes and no. Vegans do not eat animals, but they also do not eat any animal products. Foods like honey, milk, eggs, etc. are off-limits.

Ethical vegans choose not to. This means they won’t buy leather jackets, belts, silk scarves, and bags. Also, they will try to avoid products that have been tested on animals.
-Is veganism a healthy choice?
Yup! Since vegans are not consuming meat, they tend to be at a lower risk for cardiovascular diseases and they have lower levels of obesity. However, poorly planned vegan diets can be low in calcium, vitamin D, iron, and vitamin B12, to name a few.
